1. Service

Decant is a private, invitation-only read-it-later application. Access is restricted to authorized users. The service saves web content, processes it with AI, and provides a reading interface with chat capabilities.

2. AI Processing

Decant uses your own OpenAI API key to process articles. Your key is stored only in your browser and transmitted to our backend solely for the purpose of making API calls on your behalf. We do not store your API key on our servers.

3. Content

Decant extracts and stores content from URLs you provide. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to access and save the content. We do not claim ownership of any content you save.

4. Data

Your saved articles, chat history, and preferences are stored in our database (Supabase). You can delete your data at any time by removing individual articles or contacting support.

5. Availability

We make no guarantees about uptime or availability. The service is provided as-is. We may modify or discontinue the service at any time.
